Being a bag lover and enthusiast, I keep buying new and trendy bags very frequently. Whatever catches my eye, I instantly buy. But mostly it’s a one-time thing and I don’t fall in love as much as I fell in love with the latest Louis Vuitton Onthego tote. Last summer I wanted to buy on the go, and it still excites me whenever I think about that day when I finally laid my hands on this bag.

Although I wanted to get the khaki color, that is white and tan on one side and green on the other side. Unfortunately, that edition was limited and sold out quickly. As you all know people often take advantage of this kind of situation and buy these kinds of luxury bags in advance and later sell in at double or sometimes triple prices, I was in a stable mental condition and did not want to spend that much on a bag. So, I decided to get the reverse monogram on the go.

There is nothing in between, you either love this bag or don’t like it, and the chances of not wanting this are very few. Although I am not a big fan of giant monograms, Louis Vuitton Onthego is different, I am glad I added it to my bag collection. Luckily this bag suits my overall wardrobe and dressing style.

Another feature of this bag that impressed me was the design comes with both monogram giant and reverse for the panels of the bag. The juxtaposition of the diverse monogram colors on the handles is the best feature of this bag, it makes each monogram pop against the other. Additionally, little monograms on the handles make it look classier and more stylish. LV Onthego Is my latest obsession and I could not get enough of it.

Usability

The Louis Vuitton Onthego bag is a very useful choice for me, it is super spacious and gives me enough space to keep my all-necessary items in place. If you are also looking for a big bag that can accommodate everything you need, this is a perfect choice for you. It can be used as a travel bag and would work great on long flights. Also, the handles are strong and there is no chance of pulling it down when it is heavy or full.

I have the GM size of Louis Vuitton Onthego, which is again a really good size and gives me a lot of space 16.14L x 13.39H x 7.48W inches. LV has introduced the same bag in an MM size which is smaller than GM. When I went to buy it, MM size was out of stock otherwise I would have bought it.

Personally, the size I got is perfect for my needs and lifestyle because I normally keep a lot of stuff inside my bag just in case, I need something like my wallet, sunscreen, makeup, water bottle, glasses, etc. and this bag still has space left.
However, I would not suggest this bag for someone who travels by public transport because if this bag is all loaded up, it would be difficult to carry around and walk.

Louis Vuitton Onthego tote bag comes with two handles, you can carry it on your hand or the shoulder as per your choice. I prefer to wear it on my hand but still having an option to wear it on my shoulder seems reasonable. The shoulder strap drop length is 11 inches on the GM measure and 9.4 inches on the MM estimate. The straps fit me truly comfortably with room to save indeed when I’m wearing my puffiest winter coat.

Quality

The Louis Vuitton Onthego tote bag is manufactured in the USA and fortunately, there are no issues reported to quality or any other. The bag looks shiny from the outside and perfectly stitched. Although I have noticed some of my purchases from LV have monogram alignment issues, this came just perfectly.

Pricing

The brand is no doubt expensive and requires a lot of savings for a middle-class person like me but because this bag is big, the price looks kind of justified. But I would still say it is pricey so plan before falling in love with this Louis Vuitton Onthego.
